HOUSTON, TX – January 1, 2016 – The Woman’s Hospital of Texas at West Houston and Dr. Daisy Ayim helped Saba and Muhammad Ahsan welcome their first child, and precious daughter, Nabeeha Ahsan Aman, into the world at 12:03 a.m. on January 1, 2016.  Nabeeha weighs 6 lbs 3 oz and is 19.05 inches long.  The Ahsan’s are overjoyed and excited for the new experience as parents.  

“I was so nervous, the heart rate was going up, I stepped outside to have a smoke” Muhammad Ahsan said, “the guard told me to relax, it’s about to be a new year, so I calmed down and came back up for the delivery.”

 “It’s a privilege so many Houston families choose to welcome their children into the world at West Houston Medical Center,” Todd Caliva, CEO of West Houston Medical Center said, “For now, 30 years, West Houston Medical Center has had the honor of welcoming babies into our community.”

Nabeeha and her parents received a gift basket filled with newborn essentials from the West Houston Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary.
