A sleep disorder can be a serious problem, and according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, more than 100 million Americans of all ages fail to get a good night's sleep.
The Sleep Disorder Center at West Houston Medical Center provides detailed sleep evaluations and comprehensive diagnostic reports.
Sleep technicians record the patient's sleep with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. A registered sleep technologist scores the patient's sleep study and our medical director, Dr. Victor Salcedo, a board-certified sleep medicine physician, interprets each study.
Sleep studies are conducted seven nights a week from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. During testing at our Joint Commission-accredited sleep lab, patients receive assessments using advanced technology while relaxing in a comfortable, at-home setting.
