Meet Our CEO
"Our top priority is to serve our community by providing access to excellent healthcare"
Under Todd’s leadership, the hospital was named one of the nation’s Top Performers on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission. WHMC was recognized by The Joint Commission for exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for certain conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care. WHMC is the only primary acute care hospital in Houston to receive Top Performer distinction in four metrics for two years. West Houston Medical Center was also recently designated as a Pathway to Excellence® organization by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), demonstrating WHMC’s commitment to creating a work environment where nurses can flourish and improve not only nurse satisfaction but also patient satisfaction and quality of care. Additionally, West Houston is recognized as one of the top ten large companies to work for by the Houston Chronicle’s Top 100 Workplaces award for the second year in a row.
Always working to ensure the best possible care for his community, Todd led the way in completing a $72 million dollar expansion project, by adding a new three-story bed tower with expanded cardiac and women’s services including an affiliation with The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.
Todd co-chairs the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC) Cardiac Care Committee that works to coordinate efforts between agencies to provide the best cardiac intervention and treatment for Houston area communities. He has been the Chairman of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, a West Houston Leadership Institute alumnus, and was the 2011 President/Chair of the Southeast Texas Chapter of The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The Houston West Chamber of Commerce recognized Todd’s business development efforts in the community with their Impact Award in 2011. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Todd and his wife Sherry have two daughters, Sophie and Cara.
