Summer Safety with Kids R Kids
On June 13th, HealthOne 24 Hour Emergency Care | West Campus hosted a morning of summer safety education for children from Kids R Kids. Children ages 4-6 years old went through different stations to learn about: treating cuts/scrapes, sunscreen use, hydration importance, and protective gear use. They also were able to tour an ambulance and meet with paramedics, get a demonstration of how a CT scan works, and have their height and weight checked. All children went home with goodies and information on how to stay safe this summer!
